Keysight Technologies, Inc. annonce Cloud Sensor vTap, une nouvelle fonctionnalité de Ixia CloudLens. Cloud Sensor vTap permet aux entreprises de mieux gérer les risques liés à la sécurité dans les environnements cloud privé et hybride, grâce à une visibilité complète sur le trafic, sans besoin de recourir à un hyperviseur. L’augmentation rapide de l’adoption du Cloud a accru le besoin de sécuriser les données, les applications et les charges de travail qui résident sur ce type d’environnements. Selon la récente étude d’Ixia Lack of Visibility Drives Public Cloud Security Risk, 82 % des professionnels de l’IT indiquaient s’inquiéter quant à la sécurité et la confidentialité des données dans le cloud privé. Avec la nouvelle fonctionnalité Cloud Sensor vTap, Ixia CloudLens est une solution complète de visibilité pour le trafic réseau virtuel dans les clouds privés, et offre aux clients une visibilité sur le trafic dans les environnements où l’administrateur n’a pas accès à l’hyperviseur. Elle permet ainsi d’exploiter virtuellement (vTap) ou capturer, filtrer et transmettre une copie du trafic réseau directement aux outils ou à un Network Packet Broker. CloudLens comprend également une nouvelle plate-forme de gestion des capteurs, la CloudLens Sensor Management Platform (CSMP). Couplé au CloudLens Manager pour une gestion intégrée et facile, les capteurs peuvent être déployés sur place, même dans des environnements sécurisés sans accès à Internet.
